Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City has broken ground on a $150 million behavioral health hospital in partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

Two employees at Hampstead (N.H.) Hospital, a state-run psychiatric hospital, were hospitalized March 17 after a patient "exhibited assaultive behaviors toward staff," Morissa Henn, deputy commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, told Becker's. 

Demand for mental health services is increasing in cities across the United States, but existing resources are not even making a dent in the "crisis," according to a report released June 2 by the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
