Athens, Ga.-based Serenity Grove Mental Health launched a new evening intensive outpatient program designed for patients seeking structured mental healthcare while maintaining work, school and family responsibilities.
The program will offer the same curriculum, clinical team and therapeutic structure as the organization’s daytime IOP, according to a May 8 news release from the provider. Serenity Grove said the evening option is intended for working adults, students and caregivers unable to attend daytime treatment.
The organization also named Erik Bates as clinical director of its mental health program. Mr. Bates brings more than 13 years of experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, crisis stabilization and clinical leadership, according to the release.
Serenity Grove said the program will provide individualized treatment for patients with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder through therapy, psychiatric services and treatment planning.
