Fruita, Colo.-based Family Health West opened a behavioral healthcare clinic March 9.

The Fruita clinic provides psychological testing for children and adults, therapy for individuals, couples and families, as well as group therapy for seniors with plans to expand, according to a March 11 Facebook post

The clinic also provides psychiatric medication management and care management services to connect patients with community resources.

The clinic is not a walk-in crisis center, but rather is intended to collaborate with other Family Health West clinics and community partners to coordinate care and support transitions, the provider said.

Family Health West said it will continue offering integrated behavioral health services through its primary care locations.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
