Sanford Health, based in Sioux Falls, S.D., has pledged $2 million to support Children’s Home Society’s new campus in Rapid City, S.D., Dakota News Now reported Feb. 9.
The donation will support the organization’s residential treatment program, which serves children ages 4-14 who have experienced abuse, trauma, or emotional and behavioral challenges. The program offers individual treatment planning, as well as individual, group, and family therapy, on-site education and psychiatric care, according to the report.
Construction is underway at the campus, and once renovations are complete, all Children’s Home Society programs and services will be housed under one roof.
