Los Angeles-based St. John’s Community Health has named Rheena Pineda, PhD, as chief behavioral health officer.
Dr. Pineda joins the executive team as the organization advances its integrated behavioral health strategy, according to a Jan. 27 LinkedIn post from the center. She said she aims to build a system of care that is accessible, culturally responsive and connected to primary care.
St. John’s said the appointment supports its commitment to equitable, whole-person care in the communities it serves.
