The Mercy Health Behavioral Hospital will be 75,000 square feet and have 72 beds, according to a Jan. 18 news release. It will provide inpatient services for adults with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, substance use disorder and other mental health illnesses.
Lifepoint Behavioral Health will manage the operations of the facility. It will be the organization’s sixth joint venture, standalone behavioral health hospital in the U.S. and its first in Ohio.
Construction is slated to begin in summer 2023 and wrap in late 2024.
