Cincinnati-based Mercy Health and New York City-based Cityblock Health, a Medicare- and Medicaid-funded healthcare services provider, began a strategic collaboration Nov. 13 to expand behavioral and wraparound care for Medicaid patients in and around Cincinnati and Toledo, Ohio.
The partnership targets patients attributed to Mercy Health primary care providers in the Cincinnati and Toledo metro areas, according to a Nov. 13 news release. Cityblock will deliver 24/7 care-extension services — including behavioral health, urgent care support and social services — to complement Mercy Health’s existing provider network.
Care will be available across in-person and virtual settings.
At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
