Birmingham, Ala.-based River Region Psychiatry Associates has rebranded as Ally Psychiatry to reflect its multistate expansion.

Founder Shankar Yalamanchili, MD, said the new name is meant to convey the organization’s commitment to supporting and advocating for mental health patients, according to a Nov. 12 news release. The rebrand also includes an updated logo, website and digital presence.

The group, founded in 2007, operates more than 75 service locations across seven states and provides a range of behavioral health services through outpatient clinics, rural health clinics and telehealth services.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
