New Mind Wellness, a Philadelphia-based behavioral health provider, has earned a Gold Seal of Approval for behavioral healthcare from The Joint Commission.

The recognition reflects the organization’s adherence to national standards for safety, quality and patient care as established by The Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest healthcare accrediting body, according to an Oct. 23 news release.

Owner Beau Allen said the accreditation underscores the organization’s commitment to delivering effective and compassionate mental health services.

New Mind Wellness offers partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and standard outpatient treatment for adults. Its approach integrates evidence-based therapies with holistic practices such as mindfulness and life-skills training, according to the release.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
