Berkeley, Calif.-based Foresight Mental Health has launched a maternal mental health program aimed at supporting individuals throughout the reproductive process.

The program seeks to address unmet mental health needs from fertility to pregnancy and postpartum experiences, according to an Oct. 21 news release. It includes psychiatric and therapy services from providers with perinatal mental health certification, along with access to virtual care, support groups and wellness resources. The organization said most patients are seen within a week, often sooner.

Foresight also provides virtual and in-person mental health services across five states — Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia and Texas — and offers intensive treatment services in California, according to the news release.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
