Oconomowoc, Wis.-based Rogers Behavioral Health plans to open a mental health facility in Chippewa Falls, Wis., in early 2027 with capacity for 14 inpatient rooms and 24 residential rooms, according to an Oct. 14 report from WEAU 12 News.
The facility is intended to address gaps in mental health services in the Chippewa Valley following recent facility closures, including the loss of local youth inpatient beds. A conditional-use permit for the project was approved by the Chippewa Falls Plan Commission Oct. 14, according to local officials.
In a statement, Rogers Behavioral Health said it has spent the past year assessing local care gaps and is committed to providing timely access to appropriate support. The state Senate approved $10 million in funding for the project this week, according to the report.
