Buckeye Ranch, an Ohio-based, nonprofit organization, plans to open a $35 million youth mental health treatment facility in Grove City, Ohio, by the end of the year, according to a Sept. 5 report from CBS affiliate WBNS

The Hope Treatment Center will serve about 40 children at a time, providing both psychiatric residential treatment and qualified residential treatment services, according to the report. The new center expands Buckeye Ranch’s existing programs aimed at helping children in crisis transition safely back into their communities.

The facility will offer individual and group therapy, as well as access to psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and licensed mental health clinicians. The organization said its goal is to keep children close to their families during treatment, noting that one in five children in Ohio has a mental health condition.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
