Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health is unveiling a new 90,000-square-foot pediatric behavioral health center in West Taylorsville, Utah on Aug. 22.
The Intermountain Health Primary Children’s Hospital Behavioral Health Center will open to patients on Sept. 6 and was made possible by a $25 million investment from the State of Utah and philanthropic donations.
The new center will offer family-centered mental and behavioral health services, including a 24/7 walk-in crisis center for youth needing support.
At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
