Sheppard Pratt will oversee Lansing, Mich.-based U-M Health-Sparrow’s behavioral health services.
Baltimore-based Sheppard Pratt will lead U-M-Health Sparrow’s existing 59-bed behavioral unit and expand offerings in child and youth adolescent care, according to a July 17 news release.
The company will also oversee U-M Health-Sparrow’s planned 88-bed behavioral health hospital. The site is awaiting approval from the Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan’s board of regents.
Sheppard Pratt will report directly to UM-Health Sparrow leaders, according to the news release.
Sheppard Pratt is one of the largest nonprofit behavioral health providers and operates more than 160 behavioral health programs in Maryland.
