West Virginia hospital expanding youth mental health services

Wheeling, W.V.-based Orchard Park Hospital is expanding youth mental health services, WTOV reported May 27.

The hospital first opened in 2023 and is expanding to allow up to 30 additional patients ages 5 to 17 to receive in-house services. The facility employs 50 mental health professionals to provide 24/7 care.

According to the report, a special care unit for individualized care is also being planned.
