Renown Health Crisis Care Center in Sparks, Nev., has closed less than three months after opening, NBC affiliate News4 reported May 9.
The center cited canceled federal funding for the closure, according to News4. In March, the Trump administration canceled $1 billion in funding for mental health projects provided by the American Rescue Plan Act, according to News4.
Renown Health told News4 it is exploring other funding options for the center.
Reno-based Renown Health opened the Renown Crisis Care Center in February. The site provided short-term stabilization and care coordination.
