Akili created EndeavorRx, the first FDA-cleared prescription treatment video game, according to an Aug. 19 news release from the company. The digital therapeutic program is designed to help treat pediatric attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
The company expects EndeavorRx to expand to treat a wider range of conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, multiple sclerosis and major depressive disorder.

The software is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of this year.
