Addiction treatment center opens in Ohio

Belharmon Recovery Services has opened in Barnesville, Ohio, The Intelligencer reported Jan. 8.

The facility features eight treatment beds for adult patients in need of withdrawal management services across Belmont, Harrison and Monroe counties. Additional services at the facility include assessment and service planning, medical screenings, case management, aftercare services referrals, and Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

The new facility will operate in partnership with Cambridge, Ohio-based Cedar Ridge Behavioral Health Solutions and the Mental Health and Recovery Board, the report said.
