Appalachian Regional Healthcare forms telehealth partnership with Marshall University

Lexington, Ky.-based Appalachian Regional Healthcare and Marshall University Joan C Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, W. Va., have partnered to offer mental health services to youth in Summers County via telehealth, NBC affiliate WVVA reported Nov. 2.

Through this partnership, telehealth visits are available to kids ages five to 18 who have been recommended to Marshall by their primary care physician. Patients can receive support from behavioral health specialists for anxiety, depression and other mental or behavioral health needs.
