During the week, student athletes and athletic departments across the United States will receive resources on breaking down stigmas in mental health and how to let student athletes know they are supported, according to a Sept. 20 news release.

The fourth annual week of collective action is organized by Hilinski’s Hope Foundation, which was founded Mark and Kym Hilinski to honor their son Tyler, a student athlete at Pullman-based Washington State University who died by suicide in 2018.
