A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held for the Larimer County Behavioral Health at Longview Campus Sept. 22, along with open houses for law enforcement and first responders, behavioral healthcare providers, partners and the public.
However, the $43 million facility will not open until December, with the months in between being spent on hiring and training staff and stocking supplies. Upon opening, the 24/7 acute care center will accommodate about 70 patients with behavioral health or substance use needs for overnight stays.
