The board will work in partnership with Behavioral Healthcare Partners of Central Ohio to build the Licking-Knox Counties Regional Comprehensive Crisis Stabilization Center, which will provide immediate behavioral health services to those in need.
The funding to purchase the land comes from the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and is part of $90 million in federal American Rescue Plan Act funds that were awarded in total, the report said.
