Along with the former Terrapin Pharmacy, Altruix now comprises operations of Bank’s Apothecary, based in Trevose, Pa., and Altruix in Lancaster, Pa., which was formerly known as Ganse Apothecary.

Altruix will serve more than 23,000 individuals across 23 states, expanding access to pharmacy services for behavioral health, substance use disorder and intellectual and developmental disability medications, according to an Aug. 15 press release from Altruix.

The Annapolis location will have access to the remote medication adherence platform Medherent, which is designed for individuals with behavioral health conditions or intellectual and developmental disabilities. It streamlines the medication management process to save medical staff time, decrease ED visits, reduce hospital costs and minimize medication errors.
