Pediatric behavioral health walk-in clinic opens in Pittsburgh

UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh partnered with UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital to open a pediatric behavioral health walk-in clinic, according to an Aug. 14 report from miragenews.com.

Patients under 18 years of age will have access to same-day care with no appointment required. The clinic offers a one-time therapeutic intervention with a therapist or psychologist, along with additional behavioral health resources.

The clinic will collaborate with the patient’s existing care team and be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, according to the report.
