The $100 million modernization project spans four phases, with the third phase already in progress. Once completed, the updates will nearly double patient capacity within the inpatient behavioral health space.
Updates include remodeling patient spaces, adding group meeting and communal areas and developing a private admissions room. The project also included the development of a new women’s center, now completed, that provides a comfortable space for women to make proactive health decisions, the report said.
At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
