The $4.5 million medical and behavioral health clinic will provide services to area residents who are uninsured or unable to afford medical care, the report said. CEO Kim Franzen, BSN, told Fox11 that it’s the first time in the practice’s 50-year history that it will have dedicated behavioral health space.

Construction on the clinic began last year, and it opens to patients June 2, the report said.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
