Included in the framework is HB 2757, which builds upon the American Rescue Plan Act funding for the national suicide prevention hotline number.

Other investments listed in the framework include $50 million to “build out physical and provider capacity,” $15 million to build additional substance use disorder facilities and $3.1 to increase training opportunities for pediatricians and child psychiatrists.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
