McLaren Northern Michigan opens behavioral health center

McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey opened the Justin A. Borra Behavioral Health Center, the health system said June 5.

The center is in a renovated 11,000 square foot space, has 18 beds and will offer inpatient services, according to a news release. There are also plans to add less-intense treatment in the future.

Before the facility opened there were 35 behavioral health inpatient beds in the northern Michigan region.
