Canopy Children’s Solutions is investigating a data breach that was discovered in April, Magnolia State Live reported June 4. It affects three facilities in Mississippi. Encrypted files were discovered on certain systems in Canopy’s network, and an investigation found an unauthorized individual gained access. A review of the affected files in underway.
South Jersey Behavioral Health Resources in Camden, N.J. was also hit with a data breach in April, accoridng to a June 4 news release. Unauthorized access to its servers began April 3, and an investigation is ongoing. It’s unknown if data related to patients was accessed.
