The program gave 75 providers additional training and will provide training to more community providers. It expects to reach 150,000 families in its first year.

Over 85 percent of providers in the program said they would recommend the program to other providers. The training includes Medicaid billing strategies that allow physicians to integrate mental health screening into their primary care practice efficiently, which physicians in the program found effective, according to the publication.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
