Talkiatry has made its therapy services available nationwide, expanding access to its coordinated psychiatry and therapy model across all 50 states.
The company employs over 400 therapists, 85% of whom hold licenses in multiple states. Its services are available to more than 170 million covered lives, according to an Oct. 22 news release from Talkiatry.
Talkiatry said patients receiving treatment from both a therapist and psychiatrist through its platform stay engaged in care twice as long as those receiving psychiatric services alone. The company also reported that nearly 85% of its therapists establish a positive therapeutic relationship with patients within the first month of treatment.
The expansion comes after Talkiatry partnered with the American Medical Group Association to broaden access to in-network psychiatric services and secured $210 million in series D funding earlier this year.
Talkiatry is the preferred in-network psychiatry partner for more than 70 U.S. health systems and employs more than 800 full-time psychiatrists. The company has provided 4 million patient visits, surpassing the 3 million visits it reported earlier this year.
