Lady Gaga-backed foundation partners with TimelyCare to boost college students’ mental health

The Born This Way Foundation partnered with virtual wellness company TimelyCare to provide mental health resources to college students.

A survey conducted by TimelyCare found that approximately 60 percent of Generation Z college students sought professional mental health treatment in their school-age years, according to a May 10 news release from the company. 

The Born This Way Foundation, co-founded by singer and actress Lady Gaga and her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, and TimelyCare are now offering online mental health courses to college students on the TimelyCare platform. They are designed to increase mental health literacy and provide support to those experiencing mental health issues, according to the release.
