Austintown, Ohio-based Comprehensive Behavioral Health shut its offices Oct. 2, affecting about 7,000 clients served through branches in Austintown, Boardman, East Liverpool, Steubenville, Alliance, Howland and Salem, 21 News reported Oct. 2.
Executive Director Ebonie Bourgoin told 21 News that ownership has not provided a reason for the closures. The organization is working to connect clients with other providers and will fully cease operations after those transitions are completed.
Clients and providers can still request medical records. Medication services will also remain available through a nurse practitioner in Austintown on Mondays and Wednesdays and in Salem on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
