Arizona provider opens its 1st primary care clinic for patients with autism

Phoenix-based Arizona Autism Family Medicine: A Valle del Sol Clinic opened a primary care clinic to serve children and young adults across the autism spectrum, according to an Aug. 18 report from KTAR News

The clinic is on Arizona Autism Charter Schools’ (AZACS) Phoenix campus and is a partnership between AZACS and Phoenix-based Mercy Care. It is operated by Valle del Sol and provides more than 1,200 AZACS students and their families with access to care. The clinic is also open to community members, offering preventative care, health education, peer-support groups and wrap-around services.

Arizona Autism Family Medicine was supported by a 2025 Community Reinvestment Grant of $355,000 from Phoenix-based Mercy Care.
