Former Arkansas surgeon general joins mental health tech company

Gregory Bledsoe, MD, has joined Kindly Human, a peer counseling platform for behavioral health support, as a strategic advisor.

Dr. Bledsoe served as surgeon general for Arkansas from 2015 to 2023, according to an April 19 news release. He previously served on faculty of the Johns Hopkins Medicine department of emergency medicine in Baltimore and held positions at Little Rock-based Arkansas Heart Hospital and Align MD.

As strategic advisor, Dr. Bledsoe will provide guidance on Kindly Human’s mental health platform, which offers 24/7 preclinical support for employees on a variety of stressors, including finances, relationships, work and health concerns.
