Texas senate passes $115M mental health facility expansion bill

The Texas Senate has passed a bill that would allocate $115 million to expand the El Paso (Texas) Psychiatric Center State Hospital System, ABC affiliate KVIA reported April 17.

The expansion will add 50 inpatient mental health beds to the facility. 

A similar spending bill has also passed the state’s House of Representatives.
