Baton Rouge, La.-based Beacon Behavioral Partners expanded into Georgia through a partnership with Valdosta, Ga.-based AR Psychiatric and Counseling Center, its first in the state.
The partnership allows AR Psychiatric and Counseling Center to maintain its physician-led model under the leadership of co-lead psychiatrists Anil Gupta, MD, and Bhavesh Patel, MD, according to an Aug. 4 news release. The practice operates two locations serving Valdosta, Tifton and the surrounding South Georgia region.
Beacon Behavioral Partners said the affiliation supports its national growth strategy while helping physician-led practices expand access to behavioral healthcare. AR Psychiatric and Counseling Center offers medication management, psychotherapy, counseling, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Spravato therapy, telehealth services and Suboxone maintenance.
