Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital Behavioral Health Hospital has launched a partial hospitalization program to bridge the care gap between inpatient care and outpatient services.
The structured daytime treatment program will provide intensive behavioral healthcare without requiring an overnight hospital stay, according to a June 19 news release from Tampa General Hospital.
TGH Behavioral Health Hospital will provide transportation services through Uber Health at no cost to patients who live within 30 miles of the hospital.
Partial hospitalization patients will receive psychiatric, nursing and clinical support, individual and group therapy, medication management and treatment planning services, the release said.
