Orlando (Fla.) Health held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new behavioral health hospital in Apopka, Fla.
The 144-bed facility, set to open in June, is a Baker Act receiving hospital designed to provide behavioral health services for Central Florida residents, according to the system’s website.
The hospital is a joint venture between Orlando Health and Franklin, Tenn.-based Acadia Healthcare and will serve as a teaching and training site for behavioral health professionals.
