- Franklin, Tenn.-based Acadia Healthcare purchased $9 million worth of land in St. Johns, Fla., with plans to build a 144-bed hospital.

- Officials in Licking County, Ohio, are looking to add to the state's small number of crisis stabilization centers as part of its community health improvement plan.
- New Mexico became the 15th state to expand access to community-based mental health and substance use crisis care with community-based mobile crisis intervention teams.
- A new behavioral health center has opened in Belpre, Ohio.
