2 New Jersey behavioral health providers merge

Behavioral health providers Woods Systems of Care and Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services have announced their intent to affiliate.

The affiliation has been approved by both organizations' boards and is awaiting approval from New Jersey regulatory agencies, according to a June 29 news release. Upon approval, Bridgeway will join Woods' three other New Jersey affiliates — Legacy Treatment Services, Allies, Inc., and Archway Programs.

Based in Langhorne, Pa., Woods System of Care has 10 affiliates and joint ventures across Pennsylvania and New Jersey providing care for more than 22,000 behavioral health patients and offers mental and physical healthcare, education, housing and residential treatment and workforce development.

Meanwhile, Bridgeway cares for over 4,000 patients annually through crisis intervention programs across 10 counties in northern New Jersey.
